Nick went directly into the world of strategy and marketing consultancy after reading geography at Oxford, his initial consulting career was interrupted by a brief spell at a Virgin backed start-up. Frustrations in the traditional consulting model led him to set up an innovation unit within a WPP agency and subsequently Mangrove. Since then, he has led a number of growth and innovation projects in markets as diverse as Nigeria, Russia, Kuwait, Pakistan and USA. He has co-founded and funded (and exited) several start-ups and is co-author of Stretchonomics. He has a specific interest in the link between strategy, risk and behaviour.
Justin started his career as a trader before studying psychology and entering the corporate world. Prior to Mangrove, he held a number of innovation roles in specialist units at P&G and Diageo and set up an innovation unit in a WPP consumer trends/research agency (before becoming a board director). In 2005 he co-founded Mangrove. As well as leading a number of global projects in categories as diverse as drinks, financial services and agriscience, he has co-founded and funded (and exited) a number of start-ups. He is co-author of Stretchonomics and has a particular interest in human performance.
Francesco is a manufacturing engineer with an additional post-graduate degree in marketing strategy and innovation. He began his career at OMD, working on insights-focused projects for global clients across industries. He has also gained startup experience, by taking on commercial roles for one of the fastest growing media businesses in London. He is specifically interested in analytics and branding.
Charlie started out his career at creative agency FCB Inferno working on projects within the automotive industry as well as ad hoc social impact initiatives. He has also gained cross-market/industry experience having led a number of brand growth projects in his time in the Consulting Division at Kantar. He has a keen interest in the role of brands and businesses in culture.
Laura is a high-performance specialist and was the Team Leader of the Coxless Crew, who set two World Records in January 2016 when they rowed unsupported across the Pacific (9,000nm). She was previously Lead Physiotherapist for the Paralympic Programme of British Athletics attending three Olympic games. She is now Founder/Director of Adaptive Performance - specialists in Performance Management and helping others reach their potential. She works with us on special projects.
